Welcome! I am Kym and I am pleased that you have found your way here.

I choose to write under the name of Harmony Clark, not for anonymity, but because it is a truer representation of self. Clark is the surname given at birth, rather than that chosen with marriage. Harmony, however, is more esoteric. I feel that Harmony is the name etched into my soul; the name that will leave this Earth with me one day and stay with me into the next life.

Being an introvert and prone to social awkwardness, I tend to waffle and flit around in verbal conversation. It is not my comfortable place. When writing, however, words and phrases can be removed, shifted around, and polished to get the message across in a more succinct and hopefully, relatable way. This is where I find it easier to express myself. Where the jumble of thoughts and emotions in my head can become more ordered. It doesn’t stop the waffling completely though!

Perhaps that is also why I revel working within Word documents. The Word environment provides a sense of order and clarity to me. That is how I justify that little eccentricity anyway 😄.

I am very proud to be the mother of two independent adults whom I adore and am a slave to two ridiculously needy fur babies. I am very slowly learning to paint and hope to one day incorporate my words with some simple art (trust me, it will be simple).

I ride the roller coaster of life as we all do and try to soften its sharper corners with meditation, Yoga, and Qi Gong. I also find joy, wonder, and inspiration in nature and am always striving to bring flow, stillness, and balance to my life.
